On the 5th of July every year - the anniversary of the NHS - the country unites to celebrate our National Health Service and all that is does to ensure that the highest standard of physical and mental health is a right enjoyed by all.

On this day, also celebrated as the NHS birthday, we remember all that the NHS does to look after us, recognise the hard-working people who make up our NHS and reward their bravery and compassion with our heartfelt support and solidarity.
